Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana
Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana is a government scheme that aims to help small businesses and workers of the country to increase their trade and improve their standard of living. The scheme is specially designed for traditional artisans and craftsmen, such as carpentry, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, potters, etc.
The main point of the scheme
- Loan amount : Loan up to Rs 2 lakh is available at an interest rate of 5%.
- Training : 5-7 days basic training and 15 days advanced training, in which a scholarship of Rs 500 will be given per day.
- Toolkit incentive : E-vouchers of up to Rs 15,000 will be given at the beginning of basic skill training.
- Credit Support : For a period of 18 months and 30 months, a collateral-free loan of Rs 1 lakh and 2 lakhs respectively will be available at an interest rate of 5%.
